I'll be back later with some scrappy updates..... Ciao for now

Friday, 7 May 2010

Okies, so I'm really really slack.....

and to be totally honest... I find it really really hard to get on here and tell the world about my life (mainly cause I'm a pretty laidback boring kinda gal :-) heehee)
but seriously, I'm pretty time poor & I'd rather spend more time creating than on the computer (or doing house work for that matter!)....

Sooooo here is whats been happening......

3Angels Scrapping is closing down... makes me a lot sad, but I totally understand where Jo & Rosy are coming from. Wishing them all the best. There is a closing down sale, so hop on over asap cause nothing really lasts very long!!! Everything is currently 30% off. Make sure you visit often because they are re-posting stock from the previous shop (before the naughty web provider did a runner with all the info)

Still designing for Twiddley Bitz.
I had the pleasure of meeting Nic & Andrew IRL this week. Gosh they are lovely people, so glad to be working and interacting with them. So blessed!!!!

Me, Tracy, Tiff & Nic.... aka the 'twiddley girls' (lol) at the Trade day last Saturday.

Here are some pics of my SIA projects, full details will be on ning shortly....

A Christmas themed frame
Close up.....

A Christmas themed LO
I found these projects tremedously hard to complete, mainly because of the robbery I didn't have any Christmas photos from this year..... :-(

Close ups(love this one, because it shows all the 'glimmer' heehee)

and a 'Child within' themed LO (very Leeanne Pearce inspired!!! ;-) )

Classes at Pages2Scrap are continuing.

Coming up this week, I am showing people how to use their sewing machine on a layout with a 'patch work' effect... lol I hear you say "why would you use a sewing machine on a layout!!!?".... well, the short answer is that it looks fab-u-lous!! :-)
My sample is very basic, but I will show you a few different ways to incorporate the sewing machine stitching and patchwork effects on a layout.
This class is running on Wednesday, May 12th at 10.30am. Cost is $25 and everything is included in the kit. Call us on 1300 664 228 to confirm your place.

Here is my sample. Next week Wednesday May 19th at 10.30am is 'Shabby Baby'. I'll be showing you another flower technique. I've used a baby photo, but this would also suite a heritage/vintage photo.
Here is my sample

That's all from me tonight. Have loads of other photo's from Mistified & SIA, but will have to wait for another night :-D

Ciao for now!!
