Howdy, it's Jo again.
Hoping everyone is enjoying the build up to Christmas Day??
Finished gift shopping or is the 'silly season' in full swing?
Sharing two layouts for you today.
First page has a photo of two of my creative besties, Kim Price and Lisa Oxley
which feature the 'freaking hot' piece of veneer (WV202) and the arrows from the Symbols pack (WV204)
Second page is a fun summer page featuring some veneer pieces from the Summer pack WV206. The sun and the sun glasses have been inked while the thongs (flip flops? havianas?) and the title have been left 'nude'.
Both pages are 8.5by11 and have been through the ebosser>
I like to think that it's a pimped up version of Tim Holtzs' vagabond.
It is electrical, so there is no 'cuttle bug arm' the day after you've been winding away :)
but it is waaaay better than the vagabond because the mats are full size - ie fits the full 8.5by11inch page.... now that is "fully sick" (as my 12yo would say :) )
The background of 'Freakin hot' page has been made with an embossing folder - yes an embossing folder that is 8.5by11inches!!! woohoo
The 'Hello Summer' page was made with a die cut from Taylored Expressions (?). The only frustration I had with the die cut, was that it had an edge to it that cut the sun burst out so I was left with a rectangular window in the page.
(I would have preferred to have the windows cut from the paper and then trimmed it.... but you know, I'm not a card maker and it is aimed at card makers, so I'll head to the kitchen to find my 'cup of concrete' hehehe)
Anyhoo easy fixed with some washi tape on the reverse side :)
Thanks for dropping in!
